Rachel Dress
In 2014, she joined Racine as Counsel, with the distinctive feature of practising both transactional tax (in particular real estate tax) and private wealth tax.
Over the years, Rachel also developed strong expertise in tax litigation, which is now at the heart of her practice. In 2020, she joined Aston (now act Legal) as a Partner and took over the management of the tax department.
She founded Lexen Avocats in 2025, driven by the desire to bring together talented people met throughout her career who share the same values and the same vision of the profession.

Michel Zavalichine
Michel developed, in particular, sharp expertise in external growth and business transfer transactions.In 2017, he joined Aston Avocats (now act Legal) as a Partner in the M&A – Private Equity department, then Mateia Avocats in early 2022 to build the firm's Corporate practice.
He joined Lexen Avocats on 1 January 2026 as the Partner heading the M&A – Private Equity and Corporate Law department.

Nicolas Lévêque
With more than ten years of practice in major national and international law firms, Nicolas has developed solid and rigorous expertise in corporate law. He acts in particular on business transfer transactions, venture capital transactions and governance issues.

Alexandre Courot
Alexandre met Rachel early in his career at a major French law firm nearly ten years ago. Since then, he has built a particularly comprehensive practice covering corporate tax, private wealth tax, and tax litigation. This cross-disciplinary approach, combined with strong technical expertise, enables him to advise clients on complex matters.

Spécialisée en fiscalité des entreprises et restructurations. Elle accompagne nos clients dans leurs opérations nationales et internationales.

Jean-Pierre Chaux
He then joined Orsay as a Partner to set up the tax department.
In 2012, he founded Neptune Avocats, where he headed the tax practice as well as the Lyon office.
He joined Lexen Avocats in January 2026 as a Partner, heading the tax department of the Lyon office.

A classic car enthusiast, Jean-Pierre also plays golf regularly.

Sandrine Philippe
In 2016, she joined Neptune with a view to co-founding its Lyon branch with Jean-Pierre and strengthening the Corporate Law, M&A and Business Law practice.
This step allowed her to consolidate varied and very practical expertise in business law, informed by her hands-on knowledge of the issues faced by companies, their directors and operational managers, both in day-to-day management and in exceptional transactions or development projects.

A motorsport fan, Sandrine also enjoys going regularly to the Institut Lumière for a fine cinema event.

Ulric Tholin
With 15 years of experience in tax, Ulric acts more specifically on domestic and international equity and capital transactions (opérations de haut de bilan). He has also developed expertise in complex real estate transactions.
